IELTS TUTOR gợi ý bài tham khảo:

Today, I would like to tell you about a photograph that I am incredibly proud of. I captured it during a recent family trip to Sapa, which is well-known for its breathtaking scenery and majestic mountains. I still remember that day vividly: the weather was perfect, with the sun gently illuminating the misty peaks in the background. While we were strolling around a quaint village, I happened to notice my parents sitting together on an old wooden bench with the stunning panoramic view of the mountains stretching out behind them. I quickly pulled out my phone and took the shot—it was a completely unplanned photograph, but it turned out far better than I could have imagined.

The photograph itself is quite special to me for a couple of reasons. Firstly, it beautifully encapsulates (tóm gọn, bao hàm: to express or show the most important facts about something) the enduring bond (sợi dây gắn kết bền vững: a strong connection that lasts for a long time) between my parents. When I showed it to them, their faces lit up with a radiant joy (niềm vui rạng rỡ: a happiness that is clearly visible), and they began reminiscing about the beautiful moments they had shared throughout the years. Their smiles were palpable (có thể cảm nhận được: so intense that it seems almost tangible), and it was evident that this image held a special place in their hearts. It served as a tangible reminder (lời nhắc nhở hữu hình: a physical representation that evokes memory) of their deep-rooted connection (mối liên kết bền chặt: a long-lasting and well-established bond).>> Form đăng kí giải đề thi thật IELTS 4 kĩ năng kèm bài giải bộ đề 100 đề PART 2 IELTS SPEAKING quý đang thi (update hàng tuần) từ IELTS TUTOR

Another reason why I am so proud of this photograph is because it is, without a doubt, the most romantic image I have ever captured. My parents rarely have their pictures taken alone, so this one is particularly precious. The backdrop of the monastery with the mountains rising majestically behind them adds an almost surreal touch to the moment. In fact, I decided to enlarge and frame (phóng to và đóng khung: to make a photograph bigger and put it in a frame) it, and now it is proudly displayed in our living room, becoming the focal point (điểm nhấn: the main feature that draws attention) of that space.

I am incredibly proud of this photograph not only because of its aesthetic beauty but also because of the emotions and memories it holds. It’s a timeless treasure (báu vật vĩnh cửu: something that remains valuable and meaningful over time) that I believe my family will cherish for many years to come.

IV. Part 3

1️⃣ Why do some people like to record important things with photos?

One primary reason is that photographs serve as a tangible reminder (hiện vật nhắc nhở; something that can be touched or felt that helps to remember) of special moments, helping people to revisit cherished memories (hồi tưởng lại những kỷ niệm đáng trân trọng; recall happy moments from the past). For example, capturing a milestone event (sự kiện quan trọng; a significant event in someone's life) like a graduation or wedding allows individuals to relive those moments visually. Furthermore, photos can be easily shared, enabling people to connect emotionally (kết nối cảm xúc; to share feelings with others) with friends and family who could not attend. Another reason is the documentation of personal growth (sự ghi lại sự phát triển cá nhân; recording one's progress over time), which allows individuals to look back and see how much they have changed and achieved. For instance, parents often take pictures of their children growing up to observe their transformation (sự thay đổi; a significant change in form or appearance) over the years. Additionally, photographs can be kept for future generations as family heirlooms (vật gia truyền; objects of special value passed down through generations), serving as visual narratives (câu chuyện bằng hình ảnh; a series of photos that tell a story) of family history. These enduring records (bản ghi lâu dài; something that lasts for a long time) ensure that memories are preserved and not lost over time.

2️⃣ What can people learn from historical photographs?

Historical photographs provide a window into the past (cánh cửa vào quá khứ; a means of observing past events), allowing people to understand the social fabric (kết cấu xã hội; the way society is structured and functions) and lifestyle of previous generations. For example, images from wartime eras reveal the struggles and hardships endured (những khó khăn phải chịu đựng; difficult or unpleasant conditions faced by people) by individuals and communities. Moreover, these photographs act as visual documentation (tài liệu hình ảnh; photographic evidence of past events), offering insights into pivotal moments (cái nhìn sâu sắc về những khoảnh khắc quan trọng; understanding important events) that shaped modern society. Another valuable aspect is that they illustrate technological and architectural developments, showcasing the evolution of urban landscapes (sự phát triển của cảnh quan đô thị; changes in the design and structure of cities). For instance, photographs of old cities often depict horse-drawn carriages (xe ngựa kéo; vehicles pulled by horses), which have since been replaced by modern transportation systems. This allows current generations to appreciate the progress (đánh giá cao sự tiến bộ; recognize the improvements over time) made in various fields. Ultimately, historical photographs serve as living records (bản ghi sống động; vivid representations of the past), preserving knowledge and providing context for the present.

3️⃣ Is taking photos the best way to remember something?

Taking photos is undeniably a powerful means (phương tiện mạnh mẽ; a highly effective method) of capturing memories, but it may not always be the best way to remember something. One main advantage is its ability to preserve moments in vivid detail (lưu giữ khoảnh khắc một cách chi tiết; keeping memories clear and accurate), allowing people to revisit those experiences visually (hồi tưởng lại những trải nghiệm qua hình ảnh; recall memories through pictures). For example, travel photos can bring back the exact scenery and emotions felt during that time. However, relying solely on photos can sometimes diminish real-life experiences (làm giảm trải nghiệm thực tế; reduce the quality of personal involvement), as people may be too focused on taking pictures rather than truly engaging in the moment. Additionally, memories created through active participation (sự tham gia tích cực; direct involvement in an experience) tend to be more profound. For instance, cooking a meal with family is often remembered more deeply than just taking a photo of the food. Thus, while photography is an excellent tool for recollection (công cụ tuyệt vời để nhớ lại; an effective way to remember), other sensory experiences are equally important for lasting memories.>> tham khảo CẦN VIẾT & THU ÂM BAO NHIÊU BÀI ĐỂ ĐẠT 8.0 SPEAKING & 7.0 WRITING?

4️⃣ What do you think of beautified selfies?

Beautified selfies have become a cultural phenomenon (hiện tượng văn hóa; a widespread trend in society), reflecting the growing influence of technology on personal image. On one hand, they allow people to enhance their appearance (cải thiện ngoại hình; to make oneself look better) and boost their self-confidence (sự tự tin; the feeling of trust in one's abilities or appearance), which can be especially empowering for those who feel insecure. For example, filters and editing tools can smooth skin and brighten features, creating an idealized version of oneself. However, there are concerns that beautified selfies promote unrealistic standards (tiêu chuẩn không thực tế; expectations that are hard to achieve in real life), leading to body dissatisfaction (sự không hài lòng về cơ thể; unhappiness with one's body). This may cause people, especially young individuals, to feel pressured to conform to digital perfection (sự hoàn hảo kỹ thuật số; flawless appearances achieved through technology), which is not attainable in reality. Ultimately, while beautified selfies can be fun and confidence-boosting, they should be approached with caution to avoid distorted self-perception (sự nhận thức sai lệch về bản thân; an inaccurate understanding of one's appearance).
